Fae, by their natures, both steal and consume names, identities, and fates. This makes them quite difficult to deal with! And hard to befriend--there are many pieces of Human folklore that warn against interacting with them:
"Don't ever give them your name. Names are powerful things."
"Do not accept favors from faeries."
"Don't let your children loose in the forest, for there are faerie circles there and they'll be carried away in the night."

Luminous came to being in Taboo, also known as: "the place where the nameless are found", "A World between Worlds", "Fallen Avalon", and similar such things; these descriptions are normally redacted; they're all ways to refer to the woodland area inhabited by the Fae. Without technomancy for use in online pages--such as this one--or other types of protective magic in-person, one cannot normally refer to this place or the people who inhabit it by any consistent names, titles, or labels without putting themselves at significant risk.
